Heating paint, Carbon heat paint, electric paint, infrared heat paint, G2Temps 24 v infrared heating and low carbon heating alternative to heat pumps, electric heating and oil heating and installed on walls, ceilings, and floors for the home, business, industry, buildings, boats & churches from G2Techk & The Gallery.

G2Temps Heating Paint is our energy saving low carbon, 24-volt powered building infrared heating & insulation and heat reflecting storage system. It is the latest state of art heating technology. It safely radiates heat efficiently and cost effectively. It is the perfect solution for every heating situation including building modernisation, refurbishment of old buildings (moisture and mould remediation) and for new developments of homes, businesses and buildings of all types.

It is also ideal for anti-frost heating for roads, driveways, external stairs and parking areas and for heating for yachts, boats, vehicles & saunas and to assist in the dry out procedure after flooding, for low energy building and housing and passive house projects.

Using our G2Temps infrared heat paint, whilst reflecting most of the heat back into the room, it also turns walls, ceilings and floors into safe heat store radiators, but without the need for bulky standard radiators on your walls and can be installed in addition to an existing heating system. As electric floor heating, G2Temps can be installed with or without a screed layer and therefore saves both cost and the complications of installing plumbing work for standard underfloor heating which also means you do not have issues with burst pipes.

From the 1st to 3rd of March 2022, we exhibited our G2Temps low carbon 24 Volt Heat Paint infrared heating system on Stand B 36, in the Energy Hall at the renowned Future Build Innovation Exhibition at London ExCel Centre. Click on the image below for details and or to register for a ticket.

G2Temps Comparison With Heat Pumps:

G2Temps is more efficient and more effective than heat pumps. G2Temps has no moving parts and uses just low voltage current that quickly warms up on your wall, under the floor and ceiling. Heat pumps require extensive energy to run the fans and with moving parts are prone to mechanical breakdown and in many properties underfloor heating is an additional cost with heat pump technology.

As G2Temps heating paint can be applied to the walls, floors and ceilings, this means you are getting three heating methods for the price of one and often means the overall long-term cost works out cheaper than those of heat pump installation. Heat pumps warm the air by convection, do not heat walls and therefore cannot solve the problem of heat bridge in walls that causes heat loss, even with insulation. As G2Temps is directly applied to walls, floors and ceilings, then by warming them up it, helps with the heat loss problem as long as efficient insulation is in place and or is added by way of our Bio insulation board system that we refer to below.

As G2Temps heat paint ensures the surrounding temperature is higher than the ambient temperature, then the effective radiant heat is saving energy and does not pollute the air. This energy efficiency heating makes this system extremely environmentally friendly. The energy introduced into the heating paint is converted directly into heat without producing line losses or CO2 emissions.

Our system can be installed by any skilled craftsmen or properly trained individuals as long as one of the installers is a qualified electrician. We offer a full 3-day training course on the system.

Superior Benefits Of G2Temps:

Although the price of gas gives the impression of being lower than electricity, it is wise to consider the additional costs involved in running convection electric and gas heating systems compared to G2Temps. Because traditional gas boilers, heat pump and electrical systems heat the air by convection (See image below) and cold air is heavier than warm air, they have to constantly run to compensate for heating the space due to the air movement and heat loss. That continued running operation means further detrimental effects on the environment from burning excess fossil fuels.

Add to the above considerations costs of electrical heater and boiler breakdown, replacement and maintenance costs, wet radiator cleaning, then over the long term, the real cost of gas and other electrical heating systems can end up more expensive than our G2Temps. With no moving parts, G2Temps has no maintenance and service costs after installation, no water pipes to freeze or leak, no unsightly radiators just comfortable heat from your walls, floor and or ceiling to keep you warm.

Infrared heating systems in a fully insulated building do not need to operate at full power, nor do they need to run constantly. Renewable energy such as wind and solar can be utilised to help power our G2Temps system. This is the reason why more and more new builds and refits choose infrared heating technologies. Our G2Techk heating paint system also replaces the need for infrared panels, air source pumps, ground source pumps & other forms of heating.

Older forms of electrical heating such as electric radiators are not popular because of their expensive running costs. High powered infrared heating panels require 240 volts to operate similar to other forms of electrical heating. This is because they only heat a small area. Therefore, to keep you heated, they require a higher electrical current to reach 80 to 100 degrees C to direct that heat out & to hold them at that operating temperature. G2Temps just requires 24 volts and importantly only needs to operate at between 25 to 45 degrees C. This is because G2Temps has been developed with superior viscosity to directly heat people instantly at molecular level, as well as the fabric and structure of the building and furnishing and fittings.

Development Of G2Temps, Operation & Renewable Energy Benefits:

Hundreds of happy & satisfied international clients have already been installed with our heat paint infrared technology. With the energy and heating crisis, we now realise that the UK is now ready for G2Temps. When we developed G2Temps, our engineers, physicists and test consumers got together to create the perfect heating system. Many years were spent experimenting with the carbon paint technology to get the right viscosity. i.e. This was to ensure the now patented paint coating was of the right mixture to be able to hold and radiate the infrared heat after application over our copper or aluminum power tracking system.  We created an incredibly efficient and economical heating solution. The paint combines low consumption, with superior durability but still is amazingly handy and easy to use.

The paint heats up fast & therefore saves energy in doing so. It was developed to ensure that infrared heat is held & directed at the right rate of frequency to efficiently and economically heat the human body. As our system covers most of the wall floor and ceiling area that is needed heating, then with more surface area, the heat distribution is more balanced. Hence you are saving a massive amount of energy using G2Temps.

During testing at our head office and showroom, we discovered that using G2Temps in our reception area only needed a third of the wattage power normally required to heat it with other electrical and infrared heating solutions that we have tested.

Our infrared heating paint system uses only 24 volts through our developed transformer system. Even if you drove a nail through the paint or even into the power tracking that transports the current under the heat paint, it would continue to work without being dangerous.

Solar energy & wind green electricity can be used to power your heating system meaning you get a heating solution today the answers tomorrows’ needs.

The Technology & Energy Saving Benefits:

Chestnuts in an earthen, stone or unglazed pot will bake softer than when in an iron pot. Therefore, this soft baking is an effect of the far infrared rays produced when ceramics, stone or the like is heated. Ancient Romans understood infrared by developing their training halls & buildings with windows at an angle to capture the sun’ s rays to direct heat in.

Infrared works by directly heating the objects, furniture, structural fabrics and the human body. That heat will be retained in all and slowly released into the room. This means that once the fabric has heated up and begins to release the heat into the room, your heating can switch off. The carbon paint material will continue to emit heat out for some time whilst switched off, thus saving electricity. In effect, the room takes much longer to lose heat too. The direct heating nature of infrared means that you can heat for less time per m3 than you do with standard electric and or gas convection heating.

The source infrared energy heat can be demonstrated as feeling just like when you walk outside on a clear winter sunny day. You immediately feel warm by the suns infrared heat even though the ambient temperature has not changed & might be as low as zero degrees or even lower. No matter how big the outside open space is, when the sun’s rays hit you, you do not feel the cold.

This is due to the body’s natural ability to directly absorb infrared heat. Our infrared heating system mimics this process.  Like the warmth of the sunrays, our infrared heat is felt immediately. This effect is also the reason why comfortable temperatures are achieved substantially faster by our G2Temps heating system.

Thermal Temperature Benefits Of G2Temps:

Ambient vs Room Temperature

Ambient temperature is the air temperature of any object or environment. The Adjective ‘ambient’ means “relating to the immediate surroundings.” Also sometimes referred to as the ordinary temperature or baseline temperature, this value is important for heating system design and thermal analysis.

While ambient temperature is the actual air temperature of an environment, room temperature refers to the range of temperatures that most people feel comfortable in and prefer for indoor settings. Ambient temperatures is measured with a thermometer or sensor while room temperature is based more on feeling. The ambient temperature of an environment may vary greatly from its accepted room temperature, such as when an air conditioner or heater malfunctions.

Our G2 Temps 24 volt low voltage heating paint system emits radiant heat which does not pollute the environment and at the same time saves energy as the ambient temperature is higher then the room air temperature. In the same way described earlier of feeling warm on cold days when the heat hits you directly from the sun, G2Temps operates similar in that you feel warmer even though the temperate around you is lower. This enables the heating to operate at lower setting temperature levels than other forms of heat and therefore saves energy.

No Wasted Energy Using G2Temps & How Our Infrared System Works:

There is no need to waste energy heating the air when you can heat directly a person using our far infrared heat technology. G2Temps system heats at between 30 degrees C & 60 degrees.  This is ideal as 37 degrees C is the average temperature required by the human body and is the same temperature it radiates infrared out.

The science behind infrared is simple. It is the process of projecting safe electromagnetic wave photons through the air ( not heating the air itself) into the body or an object causing their molecules to accelerate creating heat. The term thermal radiation describes that part of the spectrum of electromagnetic radiation which every object radiates in relation to its temperature when this temperature differs from absolute zero on the Kelvin temperature scale (0 K).

Far Infrared rays are part of sunlight that we can see in visible rays from the sun. These invisible electromagnetic rays oscillate at a wavelength of 6 to 14 microns on the safe part of the light spectrum. This is demonstrated by the red bands to the right in the light spectrum image below.  0.8 to 50 micrometres of electromagnetic waves (like radio and microwaves) are considered in the safe zone.

Benefits To The Human Body & All Living Things:

Far Infrared played an important role for the formation and growth of living things. This is also the reason why far infrared rays are also known as “biogenetic rays”. All living things on Earth are mainly composed of water and proteins. Humans contain over 70%. Water molecules are always oscillating and at 8-10 micron wavelength, the “resonance” occurs. This causes the activation of water into hydrogen ion and hydroxide at high speeds (10-12 seconds). It ionizes and activates water molecules in our cells and blood thus improving our blood circulation and health condition.

If this occurs in human cellular tissues, the metabolism of cell and excretion of residues from cells or nutrition are enhanced. This promotes growth in living things. Because infrared rays from the sun emit in the IR safe light spectrum at 3.5 to 10 microns of wavelength then you will understand why at 6 to 14 microns an infra red heating system will have great benefit to the human body. Humans, animals, flora and nature in general itself has life due to the benefit of safe infrared heating energy from the sun. Human beings emit far infrared rays. Many scientific papers have been published that highlight the benefits of far infrared heat.

More Benefits To The Human Body

Operating In the safe light spectrum, only Far Infrared (F I R ) transfers energy purely in the form of heat. This is perceived by thermoreceptors in human skin as radiant heat. FIR’s effect on tissues promotes healthy circulation of blood and body fluids. The effect of this, is to enhance the distribution of oxygen and nutrition to every part of the body. Hospitals and the equine industry have used infrared for years and to tremendous Bio genetic effect to aid healing and circulation.

FIR has been reported in medical trials to heal chronic back pain and claims to be effective in reducing cellulite. We have developed our G2Temps Heating paint to ensure heat is held & directed at the right rate of frequency to efficiently and economically heat the human body. The use of bedding made from ‘Bio Ceramics’ technology is also much better for us. This is because it provides you with better and sound sleep, and faster recovery from fatigue.

The medical profession also use infrared heat for:

  • Rheumatism

  • Cardiovascular and lung disease

  • Chronic bronchitis, bronchial asthma

  • Circulatory disorders

  • Metabolic diseases

  • Headaches, migraines, sinusitis

  • Stress management

  • Rejuvenation of the skin and improvement of the complexion

  • Freeing the body of environmental toxins

Health Spa & Sauna Therapy

Spa’s use infrared saunas as treatment for their clients due to the technologies ability to aid body healing and its other benefits. Below are examples of some of our spa installations.

Infrared Air Quality & Damp Prevention:

In the car, when the window is cold, the moisture out of your warm breath condenses. Condensation leads to wet walls. Harmful mould spores are everywhere in wet walls and always present. And if the wall is moist, the mould survives. Using G2Temps on the wall with our low-temperature radiant heating, but on a slightly higher temperature as the air, then you prevent that process and the wall will dry through evaporation preventing the spread of the mould.

Condensation is prevented due to the constant and evenly spread out heat that is achieved with the system and method of application. Damp prevention and the process of not heating the air space means that keeping the air quality fresher through infrared heat is ideal for asthma sufferers. The air does not get dry due to the lower air temperature. The air movement is slight, which means minimum transportation, agitation and dust. On the temperature regulated surfaces, it is very difficult for bacteria, mould and above all dust mites to survive, because the heat removes moisture from the surface which results in a healthy indoor environment.

UK Government’s Promotion Of New Technologies To Meet Carbon & Energy Reduction Targets:

The UK government is pushing for everyone to comply with global carbon reduction agreements, to help save the planet from ever increasing weather and environmental changes. The introduction of carbon credits, carbon taxes and renewable heating and energy incentives is proof of the move to more efficient ways of producing and using energy. The UK government is moving towards fossil fuel heating being replaced with more efficient heating systems. Its own website states that:

“The government is committed to expanding the low carbon economy while hitting our carbon budgets. It is likely that by 2050, we will need to fully decarbonise how we heat and cool our homes and businesses. We are looking at the best ways to cut carbon emissions from heat in the 2020s, thinking in particular about how we can reduce reliance on subsidy. We want to lower the barriers to the take up of low carbon heating and cooling.”
(Source: https://www.gov.uk/government/groups/heat-in-buildings)

We need to act now to protect our planet and enhance the future sustainability of nature. Forecasts indicate that within 12 years, standard convection heating could be phased out to more efficient and healthier heating systems. The heating market is developing solutions to comply with those government targets. The Gallery & G2Techk are committed to that revolution. We have been testing, working & installing the latest state of art heating systems for some time.

The House Of The future & Housing Situation Today:

Passive or low energy consumption homes are now required by law. The experience in the past few years has shown that efficient and responsive additional heating is needed. Modernization and refurbishment of buildings and housing stock continues and replacement of night-storage heaters (energy consumption, asbestos, EN/ EV 2014).

Overall Household Energy Usage Figures:

The chart in the second image above demonstrates UK national figures for heating your home with other forms of electrical heating technologies and appliances clearly indicates that these are the main energy usage (63%), followed by heating water. In older houses with insufficient insulation and in those in many international countries, electrical heating costs can be  as high as 76%. Electrical appliances and cooking are relatively low in energy use in your house ( However it should be noted that in reality the inefficiencies of  appliances generally mean that power generation when using electrical appliances are higher).

Climate Change:

National and international climate protection targets ( Kyoto Protocol), on the other hand, assume significantly lower potentials, and practical implementation often falls far behind these more modest guidelines; In some cases, it can be seen as a success if consumption at least does not increase.

Fossil fuels are depleting and the costs rising to use them. It is clear that electrical heating sources such as infrared heating is the future and replacing antiquated gas heating systems whose supply of gas is running short. Using our system it can contribute to the cutting of CO2 from the atmosphere and will help with climate change. Installing our G2Temps heating and through linking it to our renewable energy solutions will help to cut emissions further.

Pellet & Biomass boilers & log burning solutions can not compete with G2Temps in the long term as the raw material used to power the boilers is becoming expensive and the process of burning material for the boilers and stoves also means your directly polluting the atmosphere.

Energy Storage For Heating:

Storing energy for heating has been a problem in the past. However, the latest battery storage technologies are regularly being reported on including phase change materials, free of lithium, cobalt & lead and with the worlds leading scientists continually working on solutions it will not be long before higher density faster charging batteries will be able to be linked up for infrared technologies such as G2Temps.

Why Are Energy Costs So High In Buildings & Can We Do Anything About It ?

Heating systems in both commercial, industrial and homes that use fossil fuels lose up between 30% to 40% of their energy through the chimney (Wuppertal Institute). Our G2Temps infrared heating paint does not have that problem as we are directly heating the person ,fabric and structure rather than heating the air. In many cases – especially in private households – savings are also economically feasible, around 50% in total consumption and much higher values (even well over 90% depending on the previous state) in some areas, such as heating.

In gas central heating systems, as the warm water is transported to the radiators, it cools meaning that transport losses occur and the energy is wasted. Because G2Temps is operated with electricity, and this is converted into heat at the point where it is needed which means you have 100% efficiency use of the energy, meaning no loss so you are getting what you pay for.

Gas central heating systems normally use a universal thermostat fitted in a central location. The problem with this is that the central thermostat will provide an unrepresentative temperature reading for the rest of the house. Temperatures will naturally vary across your home.  It will always be harder to heat a draughty high-ceilinged living room than it will be to heat a well-insulated kitchen where you’re busy cooking.

If you have a thermostat set to 20˚C in your living room, your gas central heating will work to heat the whole house whenever the temperature drops in this room – regardless of the temperature in other rooms. In the kitchen, it may already by 22 ˚C – so by engaging the heating system your thermostat is overheating the room and wasting energy and money. An intelligent heating control system installed with G2Temps will avoid this problem by controlling the heat in each room separately. With G2Temps infrared heating, the comfortable temperature of the living room is approximately 2-3 ° cooler. This means that less energy can escape through windows and doors – especially when ventilating.

Our heating paint ensures that the walls are dry because it is applied to the internal /inside of the outer walls. Moistures in walls carries cold temperatures from outside into the inside and also enables heat loss from the inside escape quicker.  With our G2Temps heating paint applied on to your walls, this provides a secondary heating process by conduction to the actual walls. If you heat a wall, insulation can perform up to 200% better helping to prevent the moisture in the wall occurring.

Replacement Of Night Storage Heaters With G2Temps:

Night storage heaters are considered one of the most uneconomical and expensive heating systems that is anything but efficient, especially when not on economy 7. Heat production and storage capacity are also often designed for the building standard at the time of installation rather than buildings as they have to be to energy performance standards today. More than 80 percent of the night storage heaters were installed before 1978. For years, internationally consumer associations have been calling for old night storage heaters to be banned.

If you consider all these wasted money costs, then wouldn’t you be better off using this money for other things by installing G2Temps heating in to your home or business ?

How The Technology Works Leading To Energy & Cost Saving Benefits:

Radiators and heating panels on thermostats that turn off to save heat at the right temperature can also loose heat by conduction into the walls behind them & out of the building. Our G2Temps system mounted onto insulated walls & insulated plasterboards avoids this problem. Studies have also shown that in highly insulated properties the cost of infrared heating can be close to gas costs or even lower for a number of reasons. We explain this principle here.

A running boiler or electrical convection heater will have to compensate to continue to heat the room and temperature differences can be as much as 5 to 7 degrees between the floor and the ceiling. Training on the basic law of thermodynamics often does not cover that this law is affected by diathermancy ( the property of transmitting heat by electromagnetic waves). This is the process of heating the fabric structure, the furniture and the people in the room directly rather than via the air (convection). Heating of air by convection also leads to air and heat escaping through door gaps, windows & open doors.

G2Temps heats by up to 50% through infrared radiation and warming you directly, thereby achieving a pleasant room climate.(For comparison: conventional fan heaters only provide about 32% of the infrared radiation). Using G2Temps Infrared heat means that there is very little heat loss and air movement. By directly heating you with G2Temps and & with no air movement the difference in heat temperature between floor and the ceiling of a room can be as little as 1 to 2 degrees only. Convection gas and electric heating can be as much as 2 to 4 degrees due to the air movement of trying to heat the space continually. This is why only half the energy is required from G2Temps or a 50% energy saving.

The radiant power of infrared is described by the Stefan Boltzmann law, that it is proportional to the fourth power of the absolute temperature. In contrast, a convection heater needs “over temperature”, thus there is a temperature difference between radiator and air, in order to operate.

G2Temps Carbon Heating Paint Explanation & How It Saves Energy:

In a November 2018 Armin Teskeredzic and Rejhana Blazevic of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Sarajevo, published a study on the heat loss from transient radiator heating. There conclusions reported that they had developed :

“a mathematical model and solution algorithm for analysis of single rooms in intermittently heated buildings, considering transient effects. The methodology introduces the additional influence of the thermal capacity of inner walls, which is often neglected in calculations. The optimal start time of the heating system is influenced by the temperature of the inner walls and can affect energy consumption of the overall building. At the moment, there are no simple guidelines for optimal starting of the system in order to minimize energy consumption while providing thermal comfort. This paper is one step forward in this direction, which, combined with measurements of pilot buildings and rooms, can support engineers to find the optimal solution”.

This means that although you may be paying less for gas heating per kwh, then you are paying for heat that you are loosing or over using. The same problem exists when using electric convection heating, heat pumps as they have no direct effect on the walls because they heat the air. It is therefore considered wiser to invest in our 100% efficient infrared heating system. Remember that G2Temps covers most of the inner wall surface, and allows for better optimisation of the heat start up times. You spend less in the long run and have no maintenance costs.

G2Temps Carbon Heating Paint Explanation & How It Saves Energy Continued:

“This is due to the radiation heat transfer to the wall creating an additional convecting surface behind the radiator. The results imply that the heat transfer rate can be increased by 20% through the use of a black instead of a reflective wall. The work concentrated on the air gap behind the radiator, so these results will not be directly applicable to a normal radiator. An extrapolation indicates that the output of single bank (plate) radiator will be increased by 10% and a double by 5%. Wall surface temperature results indicate that a reflective wall does indeed decrease the heat loss through the wall.” (5) Conclusion: The wall temperature readings indicate that if the reflector is the same size as the radiator, then this will reduce the heat loss through the wall adequately

Our G2Temps heating paint is a solution. It’s carbon fibre black content material is developed with high viscosity and thus carries the emissivity required to ensure better heat output by way of the infrared heating process. As we are turning surfaces into their own wall, floor & or ceiling radiator and the material covers the same size of the full heated area means this automatically will reduce heat loss.

The Effectiveness Of The G2Temps Heat Paint System:

Through experience we learned that it is most efficient to locate the heat paint in the coldest parts of a room. The paint should cover an area as big as possible. Utilising this modern technology, we realised that a wider surface area of paint results in a very low consumption while still heating the room enough. This all means that we only need 24 volts to do the same heating operation that a normal electrical heating system would require 240 volt supply. This reflects a massive saving on energy costs.

Our heat paint is more efficient than other heating systems. It’s low consumption is also because the walls start to dry out and form a heat store. This in turn means it become an effective insulation barrier whilst also radiating enough heat to keep the occupants warm. Therefore differences in temperature between the heating system and the outside walls are very small which helps to prevent heat escaping.

G2Temps also solves the problem of heating areas with lack of space. The beauty of the heat paint means that we can apply it on all wall, floor or ceiling surfaces in a house or building, even around corners. It can be applied into difficult areas where other forms of heating simply cannot get to.

Other electrical and infrared heating systems rely on using 240 volts plus of high power energy and heating anything between 60 degrees to 100 degrees C into a small zone to heat the room. This means with those type of system your using too much expensive energy. This does not apply with G2Temps. By simply covering an area as big as possible with G2Temps, it leads to an even spread of heat. Our heating system covers the majority of the wall, floor and ceiling areas (where needed), then the heat distribution is more balanced. Then the viscosity of the heat paint enables it to be heated to between only 25 to 45 degrees C. This results in a very low consumption, whilst still heating the room to the desired temperature.

After many years of development we have created a perfect consistency in our carbon paint coating to ensure it heats up fast. The speed of it reaching temperature quickly reduces the amount of time using electricity and thus saves on energy costs. Our heat paint has broken records achieving the lowest consumption needed to heat with a constant temperature.

Reflective Heating Insulation Board System:

When air cools to its dew point through contact with a surface that is colder than the air, then water will condense on the surface. We supply optimum internal insulation board that is compatible to our heating paint system and to help with dew point displacement.

Internal insulation against energy loss through the external walls is important. In order to make even better use of the thermodynamics of our heating paint (radiant heat) in the room, it is advantageous to insulate the inside of the outside walls in order to prevent heat loss through the outside walls!

In order to make even better use of the thermodynamics of the heating paint (radiant heat) in the room, it is advantageous to insulate the inside of the outside walls in order to prevent heat loss through the outside walls! We therefore recommend the use of soft fiber boards for “thermal separation” on the inside of the outer walls. Ecological, environmentally friendly and easy to install.

At the same time, our solutions replace cost-intensive and complex external insulation and use ‘Eco Friendly’ materials that conform to European and International guidance.

We supply internal insulation board and products, tailored to your individual needs, the fabric of your building taking into account orientation of the building, heat value calculations and available wall floor and ceiling surface areas. This helps to provide you with the best conditions for effective and cost-effectively heating to ensure that the heat remains in the room.

The images below demonstrate the effect of our insulation heating board and paint system and the 5 points of construction & Installation.

Installation:

Installed transformers ensure G2Temps gets all the power it needs. It runs on very low 24-volt voltage transformers which makes it possible for the system still to work should a nail be driven through the paint or when new sockets are fitted through it– the heat paint will continue to do its work.

It is most efficient to locate the G2Temps heat paint in the coldest parts of a room. It should cover an area as big as possible to heat the room but does so very effectively, whilst using very low consumption. Less heat per m3 is needed to heat the room compared to other forms of heating including electric and gas convection systems.

G2Temps was also developed because it could be applied to walls, floors & ceilings without the need for space taking radiators or heaters. It is simple and time saving to install into a new building development by simply laying out our heating tracks and covering the wall, and or ceiling and floors then covering with our revolutionary heat carbon paint. Finish with plaster & paint- and it’s done. With our knowhow it is as simple as it is genius.

After completion the heating tracks are connected to the transformer control stations (24V) or switching power supplies (48V). All components of the heating paint are CE-tested and run on low voltage. This means that it can also be used in wet areas such as bathrooms or swimming pools (in conjunction with a sealant). The heating coating is very thin at 0.25 to 0.4 millimeters and can be filled and painted over after drying. The finished heating coating is then invisible.

Installation Continued:

The advantages of our system includes quick retrofitting (renovation, No chiseling of walls to run cables also cutting down debris and polluting the air. Customers are advised to understand that the system needs to be installed on the required walls that provide the best heat performance dependent on the type of building and insulation, although we will consult with clients in regard to positioning. The system is invisible after completion and heats quickly to provide you with warmth and comfort.

Using an electronic thermostatic device with your infrared heating also allows you zonal heating control. The benefit of that is that you can switch off heaters in other rooms yourself or ideally remotely by thermostatic control, whilst you are in another room with the heating on. This again means you that you are also using less energy. Infrared heating can switch off when the control system reads that enough heat has been held in the fabrics, wall, floor, ceiling, objects and people and therefore gives savings on running costs.

To solve heat conductivity issues, we recommend applying a special insulation plaster on walls and floors before installing G2Temps. This combination has proven especially useful on concrete. The heating paint has nearly unlimited durability, needs no maintenance no service or breakdown costs at all and will save you enormous amounts of energy.

The energy efficiency makes this system extremely environmentally friendly. The energy introduced into the heating paint is converted directly into heat without producing line losses or CO2 emissions. A 10 year manufacturing guarantee is offered on the heat paint & 3 years on the control technology.

G2Temps’ Additional Benefits, Installation Tips & Superiority To Other Heating Systems:

G2Temps heating paint works similar to carbon fiber mats but our system is very different and more efficient. The resistance of heat transfer depends on the thickness of the material. The current flow depends on the resistance and the voltage. The paint will warm to about 40 to 45 degrees Celsius when applied to a wall.

Installing our copper or aluminium tracks on the wall to carry our safe low 24 voltage means your cutting down on messy wiring. Covering with our protective plaster, the heat paint, skim finishing protective plaster, and topcoat paint surface then provides circuit and thermal isolation protection. The combined thickness of the system is from 1mm to 15mm only.

About 50 percent of the heat is given off in the form of radiant power. That allows for bringing a room to a very comfortable temperature with very little energy. The heat output is determined by the thickness of the coat of paint and the surface area that radiates the heat.

Therefore, the surface temperature depends on the current flow and the warmth in the room depends on the time the heater is used with the current flow. The efficiency of our heating can be easily calculated by multiplying current flow and voltage and the properties of the room. Efficiency multiplied with the activation time equals the energy which is equivalent to the warmth in the same unit.

Carbon fiber mats (which are in effect, the equivalent to powder ‘soot’ or ‘needle fiber’) react with oxygen by deteriorating into the atmosphere and require high surface temperature and with that loss of the carbon, the heat reduces after time & hot spots arises.

Some matts have rubber surfaces which cannot be installed in walls and are restricted to 220 watts only & 2.5 metres of length, are inflexible due to their heating power requirements, a limited life of around 7 years & reports of a loss of up to 80% on them have been recorded.

Our G2Temps heat paint system is more beneficial than other forms of heating. It avoids the need for heating water pipes avoiding water damage caused by leaking radiators or hidden pipes in the walls of a house or building.

Turning your wall floor and ceiling into its own heating and heat store using our heat paint avoids the need for radiators and other devices interfering with the ambiance of your living and working environment.

Other systems such as stoves, pellet or oil-based heating running on fossil or organic fuel, the latter fuel can be used for much better purposes.

Stoves that burn wood and pellet scrap wood fuel is reported to be a major pollutant of the atmosphere causing cancers, lung and heart disease, and even dementia. The problem also exacerbated by the public opening stove doors to create open fire ambiance and risking their health in doing so. Toxic fumes, gases and wood smoke particles created by stoves is a major problem.

You can experience that same feeling of warmth from our G2Temps heat paint, and which does not give off fumes, nor harmful gases or other dangerous materials.  G2Temps is silent with quiet transformers unlike other forms of heating such as air source heat pumps that are noisy. It is understood that air source heat pumps’ venting and water technology have been reported to increase harmful bacteria into the environment.

Our systems infrared heat process of drying out walls and surfaces prevents bacteria build up.

The heating system paint is not subject to wear & is maintenance free. It has a higher reactivity & flexibility and is generally powered to run at between 35 to 42 degrees C or higher dependent on requirements and insultation. Our electrical tracks can be set out to 7 metres in length at 40 degrees C without loss of power.

We are able to offer 15 metres tracking with higher cable cross section, tracks on edges, lines & corners are possible, 3 d textured surface tracks are possible and for special applications where requested we can also produce solutions of 100 degrees at 24 volts.

The circuit under the heat paint uses flat copper tracking which is 0.2 of a millimetre thick and 20 millimetres wide. They are fitted by adhesive strips and are connected to the transformer using a cable. It is possible to run them both on grid power which an AC transformer brings down to 24 volts.

The copper or aluminium tracking can partially replace cabling in walls, thus removing the needs for holes to run wiring and we can provide different bandwidths & different temperature zones even within a track.

The system is ideal for bathroom renovations and to retrofit underfloor heating with little effort. First, an undercoat is applied to support the reflection of heat from the wall. Then comes the heating paint coat, which you can easily cover with tiles or other materials that do not interfere with the heat transfer. You can drill into the paint as you would into any normal wall.

Our G2Temps heating paint heats fast and avoids heavy duty weight of old-style marble or stone heaters. Those older forms of heat medium take a long time to reach temperature and therefore use a lot of energy. G2Temps is also better than glass heating solutions especially in bathrooms which can deteriorate from spot traces of make-up and toothpaste.

G2Temps is vastly superior to carbon self-heating foils. We have technical experience in that sector of infrared heating and our technical expert has developed such films for industrial applications. But it is impossible to paint or plaster over such a foil. Nothing will stick to these kinds of smooth surfaces. G2Temps is very different in that respect. Once the heating layer is applied and connected, it is no problem to add a coat of paint or any other suitable wall construction. Further, the foil always has a specific heat output per square metre and sometimes it is not enough. We do not have that problem with our heating paint system.

Heating foils are also known to react with their carbon element causing deterioration over time and therefore loss of heat and efficiency over the longer term. This in means in future years, the customer may see his heating foil performing less at the foil system ages. There is no foil material in our G2Temps low carbon heat paint solution, so no loss of performance.

The 24-volt extra-low voltage technology is absolutely safe and risk-free. We use only quality components and materials in our control system. It allows an immediate installation on the wall, ceiling and under floor coverings. Unlike heat pumps, pellet, gas or oil boilers our heating paint system operates absolutely maintenance-free! We therefore offer a 10-year guarantee on the heating paint and 3 years on the control technology.

Our heat paint is set to a certain temperature and technically speaking does not need to provide constant power. Once that is reached, the system’s thermostat simply turns the power off whilst the heat continues to radiate out from the paint material. The reaction times are very fast. This also works well with the requirements of the sort of load management systems that are familiar from PV and storage. The patented carbon nature of the paint and its carbon fiber is the reason for its high conductivity. Once it has dried on the wall, it can be plastered or painted over with any colour the customer wants. Emulsion paints tend to allow heat through best.

Electrical heating systems have much public resistance and mainly because radiators, air conditioners in the U.S. and night storage heaters in Germany need an incredible huge amount of energy. All these systems have one thing in common: They used electric energy to heat up mediums like oil, water or stone. The result is still a convection heater.

These systems have two main problems. On the one hand, surplus energy once turned into heat can’t be transformed back into its original form. On the other hand, the heat given off in the air is a convectional one. There is a huge difference using our infrared low-temperature radiant heating. G2Temps transforms the energy to directly warm your skin. With our system both traditional problems are solved. The radiating energy penetrates the room without losses and warms up your body and the coolest parts of the room.

The consumption of energy on our heat paint system is not only extremely low compared to all the traditional electric heat systems, but G2Temps’ efficiency and modern technology surpasses every other heating system.

G2Temps allows you have to have more living space, removing the needs for bulky radiators and running pipes to them. This reduces the worry of burst water pipes around the building. The heating paint is a low-voltage, low-temperature surface heating system.

Our G2Temps heating paint ensures that the heat is distributed quickly and ideally in the room. It switches on at -0.1 ° C below the set comfort temperature and off again at + 0.1 ° (low hysteresis). Overall, it is estimated that the heating only needs to be in operation 2 – 3 hours a day. The use of intelligent heating controls means that you do not need to be activating the G2Temps heating on for the full period in every room and therefore saving energy costs.

G2Temps is applied with a paint roller in widths of approximately 600mm. This can be altered dependent on which application of heating paint has been formulated. The size of the entire heating surface is determined after a heat demand / heat loss calculation that we carry out for you, or by way of one of our installers or appointed dealers.

The heating tracks are ultra-flat – less than 0.5 mm. This means that after commissioning, they can simply be filled over and then wallpapered or painted. The heating paint is incombustible, invisible and non-toxic and ideal for wall heating, underfloor heating and ceiling heating.

G2Temps can be fitted in stages if required and is ideal for new builds, retrofitting and retrofitting during expansion, extensions, renovation, hospitals & workshops and if you plan to create additional living space, e.g., a children’s room, hobby room or guest room.

The Cost of The G2Temps System & Installation

Before considering the cost of the installation of G2Temps, it is a good time now to remind yourself of the full, wider, long term, health and environmental benefits of installing our low carbon heating system. Remember how G2Temps’ saves on energy & efficiency against other forms of heating. It is also important to remember that with other heating solutions, you also have years of wasted heat loss costs that you do not have with our G2Temps, 24 Volt Heating Paint system. Then take into account that with G2Temps you avoid repair, general maintenance, insurance and replacement costs that other systems require.

For new construction buildings, please send us plans with details and the information required as set out in the paragraph above. The same information is required for retro fitting to existing buildings but you may need to book our survey service. Any quotations are based only on information supplied and the application of the heat paint and system dictates whether or not you might require more product. You will appreciate that before becoming a partner, selling and or installation training on the system is essential.

We are happy to announce that installation costs of G2Temps is competitively priced against other systems. We have a dedicated heat loss calculation system to work out the costs for your project/s. Prices are very much dependent on the available square meterage, insulation types, construction and fabric of the main structure and, walls, window, ceilings and floors and the size of these items in the building concerned.

Orientation of the property also affects the calculation size of heating system that you will need (South facing rooms vs North). Passive houses require a smaller heating solution whilst old properties will require more heating. The Bigger or the less insulated the property is, then more investment is needed.

Generally, the cost of our system can be comparable with heat pumps and sometimes cheaper, especially where heat pumps need to be combined with underfloor heating as our system encompasses floor & ceiling heating (where required), meaning you are getting up to three heating solutions for the price of one.

Costs of running G2Temps can be lower than that of combined and heat pump running systems or other forms of electrical systems. However, this depends on the type of walls, ceiling, floor structure and fabric in your building. The better the insultation, the less energy required hence why considering our Bio G insulation board system is a great advantage to reduce running costs.

Intelligent heating controls that monitor heating use, behaviour and your combining that with your own obligation to monitor is important.  This includes monitoring room temperatures, setback mode, heating runtime, etc.) These all play a very important role. practice shows that those systems where the heating surfaces were correctly set, the outside walls were thermally decoupled (insulated) on the inside and the control system was optimally adapted, always had a positive energy costs balance at the end of the heating season.
